Phipps Tower, Atlanta, GA

Lowe Engineers was selected to provide full civil engineering to support efforts for the development of the Phipps Tower office project. The project includes the construction of a new 500,000 square foot office tower at the intersection of Phipps Boulevard and Lenox Road adjacent to Phipps Plaza in the prestigious Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia. Professional services included civil engineering design, Special Administrative Permit and Development of Regional Impact approval support, City of Atlanta permitting support and construction phase services. |

Cox Enterprises Corporate Headquarters

Lowe Engineers was responsible for Surveys, Civil Engineering Design and Hydrology Studies for the development of Phase I of the Cox Enterprises Corporate Headquarters. This $ 63,000,000 project included the development of a 17-story office tower; 500,000 SF commons building and a 7-story parking deck on a 15-acre site.
Lowe Engineers was responsible for the development of boundary survey; tree, utility and topographic surveys and as-built surveys, hydrology studies, civil engineering design, including site layout, parking layout, entrance design, detention design, site grading, retaining wall layout, erosion and sediment control, utility connection location design and traffic signal design and construction administration services. The project was successfully designed and constructed to minimize impact to the property and to retain much of the sites existing trees. |

Kroger – Civil Engineering Services Data Center Expansion Project
Various locations in greater Cincinnati, OH area
Lowe Engineers was selected to provide professional engineering services to support Kroger’s data center and facility expansion program at several locations. Lowe generated permit and construction ready documents for the site improvements to existing properties. The civil engineering plans included horizontal building expansion, parking lot expansions, parking lot rehabilitations, addition of stormwater drainage inlets and piping to collect runoff from the site and direct it into a new detention pond, relocation of existing sanitary sewer, power and data lines to accommodate the building expansion, preparation of Erosion Control Plans compliant with the State of Ohio Standards for SWPPP’s, as well as comprehensive hydrology studies. |
